Island Park Adventure

NKA outdoor explorers traveled to the Island Park area on a perfect autumn day last year to drink in some of Idaho's scenic beauty.
View of the Tetons from the group's first stopNKA trip committee chairman Lynn Hebdon (above & below, in ball cap) led the group.
The main destination was Mesa Falls.
Participant Marilyn Ames submitted these photos, and she writes: "Because of the federal government shutdown, the lodge was closed to the public, but the nature, exercise, and food were totally worth the trip. After a tasty hot lunch of loaded burgers and huge bowls of fries at Mack's Inn, we hiked around Harriman State Park."
Marilyn writes: "Lynn and his committee do a bang-up job of planning our trips, and we are always assured of the most enjoyable outings."
