Readers Theatre: Arsenic & Old Lace

The first NKA Readers Theatre performance was an adaptation of Arsenic and Old Lace, Joseph Kesselring's popular play about two sweet little old ladies who specialize in assisting lonely men to the grave.

The play was staged and directed by Donna Jordahl, who also played brother Teddy (AKA Theodore Roosevelt). Other cast members included Ann Adams as Reverend Harper and Mary Anne Hoffmann as Elaine Harper. Donna Tilley served as lighting technician, and Rosa Mena provided props and sound effects, assisted by Jane Riley.

Next month's performance is an adaptation of Edgar Lee Masters' Spoon River Anthology, scheduled for Thursday, February 28th, at 12:30 p.m. in Room 125 of the Continuing Education Building.  You need not be an NKA member to attend.
